about

This is a humorous song about pipers, the writer tries to strike a balance between praising the piper and mocking him to comic effect. Con "Fada" states: "In music the piper is classically seen as a bit odd; an eccentric, cranky, temperamental type who has been set apart from the rest of humanity by the long years he has spent perfecting the art of playing a ridiculously complex instrument. I was in tears of laughter the first time I heard this.
